About Us

We are part of Stanford's Department of Biochemistry, and we live on the 4th floor of Beckman Center.

Our general research interest is the molecular basis of cell motility. Some of our specific research interests include:
Beckman Center, Stanford This is Beckman.
The Myosin ATP Cycle (1) the molecular basis of energy transduction that leads to ATP-driven myosin movement on actin;
(2) the biochemical basis of the regulation of actin and myosin interaction and their assembly states;
In vitro Motility Assay
Dictyostelium Dividing (3) and the roles these proteins play in vivo in cell movement and changes in cell shape.
